MRH Solicitors Serious Injury team acted on behalf of GL, who was a pedestrian who in 2016 was knocked over by an uninsured motorist, suffering serious injuries, including multiple fractures of his left leg.
GL approached other firms who wouldn’t take his claim on or were unable to progress the claim as liability for the accident and his injuries was disputed by the uninsured motorist and the Motor Insurers Bureau.
MRH Solicitors were instructed in early 2018 to assume conduct of his claim and the matter was handled by our Sharon Long, a senior solicitor in the Serious Injury Department, with over 20 years post qualified experience.
Sharon didn’t accept the denial of liability and believed in the credibility of her client and fought the claim to a full trial.
Liability was ultimately apportioned between the parties but GL was successful in recovering substantial damages to reflect the injury and losses he suffered.
