The Prime Minister, David Cameron announced today that the government plans to curb a ‘culture of fear’ in business by making changes which will affect road traffic accident and accidents at work claims valued up to £25,000.
Mr. Cameron’s comments in an article in today’s London Evening Standard indicate an extension of the simplified low value Road Traffic Accident claims process to employers’ liability and public liability accident claims.
The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) although welcoming government reforms of the personal injury sector when it improves efficiencies, questionned the governments intention to try and save costs by extending the process to include other types of much more complex types of personal injury claims.
