If your dispute is not resolved and requires litigation, we have the know-how to guide you through the legal procedures and achieve a positive result.
Our charges for Business Litigation Services are calculated based on the amount of time we spend on your case.
Our time will be charged at the hourly rates of the fee earner handling your case.
The hourly rates we charge are:
Our charges will apply to all services required to progress a case to conclusion.
We may also need to incur disbursements and expenses which you are responsible for, these can include but are not limited to court fees, expenses for counsel, fees for experts or specialist advisors, travel and any other costs associated with your case.
Where the expense involves us instructing a third party, we will take your instructions before engaging them and do our best to obtain a realistic estimate of their fees or charges. Estimates are exactly that though and fees can sometimes exceed the figures quoted.
We will normally ask you to make payments on account of the work we need to do or expenses we need to incur. Please note that it is our usual practice to ask for payment in advance of any expected fees of barristers instructed for trials or hearings before we instruct them on your behalf.
Value Added Tax is payable on all of our charges and also unless we inform you otherwise, usually on all expenses and disbursements that are incurred for your case.
Further details of our fees and charges will be provided in our client care letter when you agree to instruct us
